This program is part of the Amputee Awareness Month themed “Inspire to Elevate” and aims to elevate the stories, voices, and community of amputees.

Our distinguished speakers for the program are:

• Aver Akighir: The convener and host of the program. Aver is also the Executive Director of Hope Alive For Possibilities Initiative.
• Mrs. Ikalon Ubo: The CEO of DANIKAL MANAGEMENT CONSULT, who will be the co-host and guest speaker on “Building Self-Confidence Despite the Challenges”.
• Eva Chisom: A poet, writer, disability advocate, and amputee peer counselor. She will be a guest speaker on the topic of “Mental Health / Career Development”.
• Hope Joshua: An entrepreneur, teacher, and amputee peer support counselor. Hope will be a guest speaker on the topic of “Relationships/ Our Attitude”.
